Crockpot Spaghetti Dinner

Nov 21, 2014 | #Blog, #Nutrition

Here is a great recipe for a busy, cold winter night. Just put this in the crockpot and have dinner ready.

Ingredients:

Frozen meatballs ( can use organic or make your own turkey meatballs)
1 jar organic spaghetti sauce
2 small medium spaghetti squashes (or 1 large)
Sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)

Directions:

Cut spaghetti squash in half and clean out the seeds. Place halves face down in crock pot.

Add meatballs (and mushrooms if using) around squash.

Pour the entire jar of sauce over it all. Add a small amount of water to the jar to get all of the sauce out.

Cook in crockpot on high for 4 hours or on low for 5 – 6 hours.

Remove spaghetti squash and use fork or tongs to shred the squash. Top with the meatballs and sauce. YUM!
