What the heck is that?!

That is typically what I hear when most people see me drinking one of my power packed Veggie Juices!

Why do you juice?

What is the benefit of juicing?

How do I get started juicing?

These are just a few of the questions that I get pretty often when people see me chugging this colorful drink out of a glass jar.

I love juicing and feel great every time I juice.

But why?

Here are just a few of the reasons that I juice and truly believe it is one of the keys to living an optimal healthy lifestyle.

-Vegetables and fruits have so many beneficial components that we lack in the America diet

-The micro-nutrients in vegetables become damaged when you heat foods.

-Cooking and processing food(which so much of our food in America is) destroys the vitamins, minerals and enzymes that you body needs.

-I want to assure that I get 6-8 servings of vegetables and fruits per day and with the busyness of life I can assure I get these servings when I juice.

I juice for many reasons but it all started back in “Dirty Jersey”…my mom had me and my sister juicing since we were like 5 years old.

Your body will quickly and efficiently be able to absorb larger amounts of nutrients from juicing

-Raw fruits and vegetables contain a ridiculous amount of important substances that are beneficial for your health

Juicing is an easy way to get enzymes into your body(google the importance of enzymes for your body)

-Juicing can increase your metabolic rate(don’t forget, faster metabolism=greater fat loss)

-Juicing ensures that your body is getting those phytochemicals(chemicals to help fight disease).

-Antioxidants baby! Juicing will get you those immune boosting properties your body needs.

-There is even some study’s that juicing can even help to heal some and help recover from certain illnesses.

My mom is the best resource when it comes to juicing and has had me and my sister juicing since we were 5 years old!
