The Killer Kale is packed with crazy antioxidants, vitamins, enzymes and minerals and is one of my go to smoothies for energy and overall health.

Why?
Kale is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. I usually put down 4-5 smoothies a week and all of them are packed with some kale. I use the kale as my issuance policy to keep my immune system cranking.
Kale even contains many properties that could serve as an anti-cancer fighter which I’m ALL about.

The Breakdown?
I am an Italian kid from Jersey…that means these numbers are about or around numbers because I guess and feel it more than measure it out when I’m making a smoothie.

ABOUT or AROUND… 300 Calories • Fat: 10-12 g • Carb: 40- 50g • Fiber: 10 g • Protein: 10 g • Sugar: 25 g

Get You Some!
- Handful of organic frozen blueberries
- About a cup or 5 kale leaves
- 1 tbsp almond butter (or any nut butter you are feeling)
- About 3/4 cup unsweetened Almond milk
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 2 dates
- ice cubes until its gets me the consistency and coldness I like

If I’m on the road or just feeling to mix it up, I will roll by 91st and Yale and see my friends at Whole Foods to pick me up a smoothie. My go to’s at Whole Foods are the Kale Yeah with a few of my own modifications or the Alternative Fuel and I throw in some Raw Protein.
