Bootcamp Tulsa isn’t your ordinary workouts that make you give up after a couple months. BcT is a place that will change your life and your body just like it did for Donna Kashwer. Donna has been attending BcT for over 3 years now and is like a brand new woman.
“I lost 40 pounds the first 6 months of Bootcamp and have even gone on to lose an additional 17 pounds for a total of 57 pounds lost. I had arthritis in both knees and severe acid reflex which allowed me to have excuses not to workout, but I am so glad I didn’t let those excuses keep me from trying BcT,” said Donna. “I am running, squatting and moving like I haven’t since I was a teenager!”
BcT isn’t like your average gym where you run on the treadmill, lift a couple weights and hit a few machines. BcT is a place that offers a variety of workouts and introduces people to things they would never do on their own.
“My favorite thing about BcT is that it’s not the same old boring routine, where you fall into the same pattern each workout. I never know what to expect and always walk away proud of all that I just accomplished and things I would never do on my own. There are new challenges at each and every workout and I’m still learning new things even after 3 years, how cool is that?” said Donna, 47-years-old.
The results people endure at BcT are usually enough for them to keep coming back, but not for Donna. The atmosphere and the people that attend BcT have a positive influence on everyone around them and make the workout much more bearable.
“I could never think of quitting Bootcamp Tulsa now that I have joined. I have a family of like-minded, amazing woman who encourage, challenge, motivate and believe in me. The coaches are so good at knowing your limits as well as your abilities. They will make adjustments for you, so don’t be afraid that you can’t keep up,” said Donna.
Not only has BcT changed Donna’s physical appearance, but it has also changed her life in more ways than one.
“Now I am one of those fitness people I used to admire, but didn’t think I could ever be. I am much more knowledgeable about nutrition thanks to the constant influx of information our coaches give us, which I know will add years to my life and health. I have met and became friends with so many amazing women that are a true blessing to my quality of life. Today, I am a happier, healthier, stronger, more fit, more confident, and simply better version of myself, thanks to making one decision… showing up to Bootcamp Tulsa,” said Donna.
Since BcT has been such an inspiration in Donna’s life, she has some aspiring words to share with those who think they can’t do this workout or who don’t have the motivation to come out at least once.
“I encourage you to give it a try because you can be more than a number at the gym. At Bootcamp Tulsa, you will be a part of a family. Don’t wait until you are in better shape to start because that may never happen. You don’t have to go to it alone because there are people ready with open arms to welcome you in and help you reach your potential. A year from now, you’ll wish you’d started today. I can’t promise you it will be easy, but I promise it will be worth it!!” said Donna.
“I can’t even prepare you for the way you will feel, when you find you are so much stronger both physically and mentally than you ever thought you were!”
