Brennen Philips — Baseball Player

Dec 10, 2014 | #Athletics, #Blog

Eleven year old 5th grader Brennen Phillips has been participating in DSD for nine months.

Brennen loves coach Jaime and says he is always there pushing him. His favorite exercise is flipping tires. Brennan is very competitive and the DSD workouts drive him to be the best that he can be. He says, “If I can be better than others my age or older, I feel better when I leave than when I arrived. That feeling drives me to come back and work harder. Seeing that I am getting faster and stronger makes the workout worth the effort.”

The results he has seen are that his legs and arms are bigger and stronger. This helps Brennen in his favorite sport….baseball. He is a pitcher and first baseman. His baseball coach says he has made great improvements in the last nine months.

Brennen has gained the confidence that he can keep going and accomplish anything that he puts the effort into. He says when he goes to bed he rests better and wakes up with more energy and ready for school and sports practice.

He would advise others that you have to want to make yourself better and have fun with the exercises in order to make the effort worth it.

Great job and we look forward to following your future in baseball Brennen!
