Deanna McKnight is 37 years old and works as a Radiology Technologist at Hillcrest Hospital. She has been a part of Bootcamp Tulsa since January of 2017. BcT was a sponsor of the Tulsa Wedding show, and Deanna was there with her sister Tekisha helping her get ready for her wedding.
Deanna shares her favorite part of BcT, “I LOVE that BcT is more than fitness! I have always been a gym girl and have been looking for a good place to workout that gave more than just fitness. I have FOUND IT!!”
Being able to combine her two LOVES – GOD and FITNESS – was awesome for Deanna. She shares, “Anyone or place that welcomes my love for God in an open atmosphere and gives you spiritual nuggets..JACKPOT !!! BcT has awesome staff all the way around. I love them all!! I am still finding my way through my process and I know that if I needed any of their shoulders to lean on or ears they would open me with welcoming arms to help me. For that I will always come back to BcT!“
The results Deanna has seen in these last nine months have been amazing. She has tried diets and bootcamps before BcT. She would have great results but has always slowly gone back to her starting point. She explains, “This time has been different. What I have lost, I have kept it off and have more confidence that it will stay that way this time around. BcT being more than a gym and being a family has played a big part of my results that have turned into a life style change instead of a quick fix.”
Deanna started BcT at 164 pounds and today she is down to 147 pounds and has gone from a size 14/16 to a size 10! Deanna adds, “Being able to run again and want to run is the best feeling ever! BcT has been a good change for my life because I was lacking positivity in my day to day. None of the ladies knew my struggle but every workout I would leave with a cheerful heart and joy. This family of ladies is what my soul needed in this time of need, and I am thankful for BcT for making a place for ladies to come to a positive place that shows and gives out so much more that sweat.”
Deanna advises: “If you are looking for a fitness program that builds you up just not on the outside but on the inside as well, BcT is the place to come. It’s a place where you find a place of friends that quickly turn into a family! My favorite part of BcT is prayer at the end of workout, Matt 18:20 ‘And when 2 or 3 of you are together because of me, you can be SURE that I’LL be there.”
