Quishawn Simmons gets in shape for Women’s Tackle Football at BcT!
Quishawn Simmons (our very own “Q”) is 27 years old and is the recruiting coordinator for an insurance company. She has been a part of Bootcamp Tulsa for 5 months.
What does “Q” have to say about BcT? She says, “I love the coaches enthusiasm, constantly motivating and not too pushy. Each coach brings a different atmosphere to the workout…always optimistic and energetic. I also love how each workout your working pretty much every body part as well as the mind and spirit. I originally started bootcamp as a way to help get me back into shape and prep for football. It’s done that and so much more.” (Quishawn is a member of the Tulsa Threat Women’s Tackle Football team!!!)
The women at BcT are what keep “Q” coming back to BcT. She explains, “Everyone is so nice and the judgment free atmosphere is refreshing. They encourage me to be the best version of myself. I am learning to be more confident in myself and it helps when everyone is so encouraging and constantly motivating and lifting you up. The words of encouragement are what drive my workouts. I was always athletic but I never pushed myself to go above and beyond but BcT has helped me go beyond what I can do. I go into each workout looking to be better than I was the day before.”
“Q” is amazed at the changes she sees in her body. Her endurance has picked up. She is now physically toned, and BcT has helped her eating habits. She explains, “ I went from eating once a day to constantly eating, but also eating the right things. I used to always be dehydrated; now I am constantly drinking water. I’ve always been small but the past 2 years I hit my heaviest and now I’ve lost 23 pounds.”
Another benefit “Q” has found from attending BcT is that she used to have to take something to help her sleep. Now she is able to sleep without any sleeping aids. She says, “My energy has picked up tremendously. BcT keeps me mentally sane!”
