Training at DSD Has Been Life-Changing for Bradley Lemon

Apr 23, 2014 | #Athletics, #Fitness, #Win in Life

For 34-year-old IT Systems Manager Bradley Lemon, becoming a part of the Dynamic Sports Development (DSD) family has been about more than just gaining physical strength. It has been a life-changer.

“Eight months ago, I was overweight, out of shape, and had a poor outlook on my life,” said Bradley. “But since then I have lost almost 30 lbs and am stronger than I have ever been. I am absolutely loving my life and DSD has been the ultimate game changer for me.”

So what’s different about DSD? For Bradley, the DSD is not just a gym or a training facility. Here he has found a community of men and coaches who encourage and support one another every step of the way. Coach Jaime in particular, has had a huge impact on Bradely.

“Coach Jaime pours his heart and soul into his work, and ends up getting so much more out of you than you ever knew you had,” said Bradley. “He has become a mentor to me. They don’t just coach athletics or strength… they coach life, inside and outside of DSD.”

During Bradley’s time training at DSD, he has not only become physically stronger, but has also learned how to be a better man, husband and friend. That’s one benefit he didn’t foresee when he joined DSD, but it keeps him coming back.

“The aspiration of becoming a better me keeps me coming back each day,” said Bradley. “Each and every time I go, I end up learning something more about myself.”

The camaraderie amongst the Strongmen is another aspect that Bradley believes sets DSD apart. He felt it from the very first day. The men encourage one another and are quick to pick each other up and motivate one another to just keep going, even when they think they can’t go on.

“At DSD you NEVER give up!” said Bradley. “There is no quit in DSD. The more you push yourself, the more you are going to get out of it.”

That’s one thing Bradley wants new trainees to know- there is no quitting! Everyone is capable of more than they think they are, you just have to be willing to get comfortable with doing things that used to make you uncomfortable.

“Push yourself just a little bit further every day,” said Bradley. “We all have things we need to work on, and there is no better time than now.”

“These men, this place… they have changed my life. And for all of this, I am extremely grateful. My only wish is that I would have started sooner!”
