Adam Bivens was on the road to a heart attack before joining FFR!

Adam Bivens is 32 years old and works in Law Enforcement for the Tulsa County Sherriff’s Office. He has been a part of FFR for 33 weeks.

The thing that Adam loves about FFR is the environment that they work out in. He explains, “No one is there to put anyone down because they can’t finish something. We are all there to make each other better in any way we can. The coaches are the best in the state and the best I have ever had. They will push you to the point you want to give up and call it quits. Then walk over and give you a hand so you can finish the lift or drill that you are on.”

Adam keeps coming back because of the camaraderie of working out with other people in his industry, the positive environment, and the noticeable changes with his mind and body.

Before Adam started FFR, he was on the road to having a heart attack. He had gone to the cardiologist two weeks before starting the program. The cardiologist looked at him and asked why he was the youngest person in his office that month. Adam says, “That hit home to me. He told me that if I don’t change some things in my life and do them fast, it was not a matter of if I’m going to have a heart attack but when it will happen.”

Since starting FFR Adam was able to loose 27 lbs of fat off my body. His chest pains have gone away. He has restored the energy he use to have. He says, “I can now play with my son for more then 10 or 15 minutes without having to stop to catch my breath.”

FFR has changed Adam’s life in so many ways. He says, “I no longer look for the negative in everything. I am an all a round much happier person.”

As for benefits beyond the physical benefits, Adam’s wife tells him he sleeps better because of the weight he has lost. She says he doesn’t snore as badly as he used to. He says, “When I wake up each day, I feel well rested and ready to go for the day.”

Adam’s advice to someone considering joining FFR is: “Don’t think about it any longer just show up. After that it’s all down hill from there. You can do anything you put your mind to.”
