Chris Kundrock is 24 years old and is a Paramedic for EMSA. He has been at Fit First Responders about 25 weeks.
Before FFR, Chris never liked working out….not ever! Now he wakes up on his gym days and wants to show up at the gym. His favorite part of the program is the family aspect. He has lots of new friends from many of the different first responders departments in town. He says, “During the workouts everyone is encouraging, and it has pushed me to levels that I’ve never experienced before in my life. Plus the coaches are amazing. Coach JC, Coach Jaime and all the other coaches are very encouraging and are always available when you need them.”
Chris keeps coming back because of the results that he is seeing, and he says he just absolutely loves the gym now!
Chris has lost about 15 pounds so far and gained a good amount of muscle mass which has increased his energy level and overall fitness level. He says, “My lifts have doubled in weight, and I see so much muscle definition.”
Chris shares how FFR has changed his life: “FFR has empowered me to take control of my life in multiple ways, through fitness, food, family and faith. I have completely changed the way I look at food, and following the 10 habits that Coach JC gives you makes life simple when it comes to preparing food.”
As for words of encouragement for anyone considering FFR, Chris says, “JUST DO IT!” No matter your fitness level, there are always areas you can improve. I should have started a long time ago. I was hesitant because I was out of shape and didn’t want to feel intimidated by other people at the gym. In fact, my first day I actually passed out after the warm up, but I came back the next day and have been WINNING ever since!”
