Crystal Morgan is 36 years old and works as a teacher’s aid at a Mother’s Day Out program a First United Methodist Church in downtown Tulsa. She is also a student at TCC and will be starting dental assistant school in April.
Crystal has only been at Bootcamp Tulsa for three months, but is already seeing amazing result. She says she loves everything about BcT but thinks her favorite aspect is the feeling of accomplishment after a hard workout. She adds, “I love how the coaches are so supportive and uplifting and always have a word of encouragement at the end of every workout that always ends in prayer!”
What keeps Crystal coming back is the accountability to her girls. Before BcT she had never played a sport or worked out on a regular basis. She started BcT during change of life free month promotion. Her mindset was that she could do anything for a month, and at the end of the month she would just continue at home. She explains, “Little did I know that the community that BcT represents is exactly what I needed to keep me motivated and accountable.”
Crystal has seen great results! She says, “When I started I was so down on myself and was busting out of my size 14 jeans. I am now back in my size 10 jeans and loving it!”
Crystal says, “Bootcamp has helped me gain confidence I have never had in myself. It has made me stronger, not only physically but has also helped with my depression I have been struggling with for years. On the days I go to Bootcamp I have so much more energy. There are small things that I notice lately like not struggling to breathe when I go up a flight or two of stairs!!”
Crystal’s advice for a potential new member at BcT: “If you are thinking about joining Bootcamp I can honestly say it will be the best decision you can make for yourself, not only physically but mentally as well! It doesn’t matter where you are physically because we are all on different fitness levels and in different walks of life! The encouragement you will get from other women and the coaches is the best and will help you push through anything!!!!”
