Diana Loehrke found Bootcamp Tulsa on her morning jog in Jenks!
Diana Loehrke is 41 years old and is an electrical engineer for a local engineering firm here in Tulsa. She is mom to two awesome kids and has been happily married for almost 17 years. She has been a part of Bootcamp Tulsa since May of 2015.
Diana discovered BcT when she was on a run early one morning and happened to run by the group during their workout in Jenks. She took note of the BcT logo on the back of one of the ladies’ shirts and went home and looked it up on the computer. She was looking for a change, and having been a part of a Bootcamp prior to moving to Tulsa, it seemed like a perfect fit….so she took a chance.
The favorite aspects of BcT for Diana are the variety of the workouts and the tremendous encouragement and support from everyone involved. She says, “This is what keeps me coming back, without a doubt.”
Diana has definitely seen results. Her “tangible” results are: lost 12 pounds and dropped a size or two in clothing since she started. She says, “This is definitely great and is what I initially signed on for. However, it is the non-tangible results that really make it worthwhile to me. The non-tangible results are that I feel so much better about myself both physically and mentally. I approach my days differently…not just with respect to nutrition and exercise, which are definitely great. The pep-talks at the end of each workout are just as fruitful for me as the workout itself. The post workout discussions help me to remember why I am there and provide a good way to get me mentally pointed in the right direction. They help me to get my mind right about what tasks I want or need to accomplish that day, week, etc. I also appreciate the approach of setting small goals and focusing on achieving them each day. This definitely carries over to my home and work life as well.”
Her closing thoughts: “Everyone is different and is driven by different influences. What Coach JC and the BcT family have is unique, and I am so thankful that I found them.”
