Gerald Scott is a 39-year old Tulsa Firefighter and has been a part of First Fit Responders since the beginning of the competition in April.
Gerald’s favorite aspect of FFR is the team aspect of the workouts. He says, “It makes me work a lot harder than I would if I were working out alone.”
The atmosphere and having the coaches there to push him helps Gerald to reach his goals, and this is what keeps him coming back to FFR.
Gerald has lost 20 pounds and has gotten a lot stronger. He says, “My cardio is probably the best it has been in 20 years.”
FFR has changed Gerald’s life by giving him motivation not only to workout but to go after other things that he wants to do outside of the gym.
Beyond the physical, FFR has helped Gerald with the mental aspect of the life and the spiritual. He says, “I’m, a firm believer in mind, body, and spirit so getting those talks at the end of workouts continue to help me become a better father, husband and firefighter. I thank God for this program. It has changed my life in so many different ways.”
Gerald’s advice to anyone thinking about joining FFR is that you should do it immediately. He shares, “The gains you get will be more than you can even imagine. The physical aspect of this program will spill over into every aspect of your life.”
