Hannah McKown found results and dietary discipline at BcT/SW!

Hannah McKown is 23 yars old and is a Commercial Business Analyst with ONEOK, Inc. Hannah joined Bootcamp Tulsa in May of 2016.

As for Hannah’s favorite aspect of BcT, she says, “Wow! There are a lot of things that I love and it’s hard to just narrow it down to one! I love the positive & uplifting atmosphere, the experienced coaches, the nutrition assistance & guidance, the structure of the work outs, and of course the women. Coach Isaac & Coach Erin are definitely one of my favorite aspects as well! The combination of the StrongWomen (SW) program & Bootcamp has truly been life changing! I love that the SW program is designed for everyone’s fitness needs whether you’re looking for a strength program to tone or an Olympic weightlifting program to grow! One of my favorite parts of BCT/SW is just showing up & knowing a great workout has been planned! With working full time & staying busy during the day, I never had enough time to properly plan a work out which always led to failure. It’s the best feeling to just show up to DSD & know that the work outs have been strategically created & planned by one of the educated coaches.”

Hannah keeps coming back to BcT and SW because of the results and the dietary discipline. She explains, “Before graduating last May, I use to spend a large majority of my time trying new fad diets & workouts which never produced the results I was seeking. Over the past four years, my diet and strength training was terrible! I was eating fast food at least five times a week on top of going out on the weekends. I tried countless workout styles & strict diets & nothing ever seemed to stick. For the first time in my life, I have been able to be fully compliant to the “10 Habits” by Coach JC for the past 7 months and it is producing the results desired without limiting me from my favorite foods and beverages. From month one to month ten, there truly is nothing more special then hitting a new personal record & seeing just how strong your body has grown over time through these programs.”

Hannah lost 32 pounds in the first 10 months and went from a size 8 to a size 4 pant! Her strength and endurance have drastically changed. She has seen all her numbers increase by at least 2 times on snatch, clean and jerk, bench press, front and back squat and deadlift.

She share how she succeeded: “The programs through DSD have made me more aware of my health & discipline. Before BCT/SW, my health awareness level was low. I had a complete opposite outlook on how I should eat and it ultimately never stuck because it was too strict which led to failure and error. With the guidance of the educated coaches and suggestions from the other women, my household preps all of our lunches and snacks for the week. Dinners are also strategically planned to fit within the 10 habits by Coach JC.”

BcT/SW is the great stress reliever after a long day at work for Hannah. Her energy levels are consistent throughout the day and she finds herself sleeping harder and more peacefully. She adds, “Aside from physical benefits, my emotional and spiritual side has only strengthed through these programs. “

Hannah’s advice if you are considersing BcT/SW: “The hardest part of BcT/SW is showing up! I would encourage everyone who is contemplating adding Strong Women to their schedule is to just do it and see what you think of it!”
