Jan Wilson learned to give 100% in fitness and in life at BcT!
Jan Wilson is 59 years of age and has been a scheduler for one of the doctors at Pain Management of Tulsa for 15 years.
Eight years ago a friend of Jan’s invited her to come to Bootcamp Tulsa. She came and loved the motivation and different types of exercises and that no workout was the same. She says, “Coach JC made it so much fun.”
Over the next 5 ½ months Jan lost 60 pounds between the workouts and the nutrition which Coach JC helped her with. Then she sustained an injury shortly after and quit. Now she says, “I wish I hadn’t quit!”
In January 2017 Jan and her daughter Kylie visited a Wedding Show in Tulsa and Bootcamp Tulsa was there. Jan shares, “I knew this must be a God thing. It was so wonderful seeing Jodi and JC. They remembered me. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met, so caring and kind. Kylie and I joined BcT shortly after that.”
Jan shares her thoughts on Bootcamp Tulsa: “One of the many things I love about BcT is encouragement not only from the coaches but from the women. Also, at the end of every workout there is a short motivation talk and I have learned how to look at things differently, like your reps determine your reputation. Give a 100% not only to your physical fitness, but everything in life.”
Jan is down about 1½ pant sizes and can almost wear a large shirt comfortably. When she started her weight was 207, and now she is down to 190 so has lost 17 pounds.
Jan is sleeping better. The way she views her job, her children, and her husband is much more positive, and she tries harder to give that 100%. All of the things she mentioned above are what keep her coming back: The dedication to the women, the motivation, the encouragement from the coaches and the women, the accountability.
